Hydrocarbons in their composition change the properties of the soil, which has a toxic effect on the entire ecosystem: fertility and the ability to absorb moisture are lost. The main cause of pollution can be accidents, well drilling, oil production. These and many other factors contribute to the accumulation of harmful particles in the soil and have a long-term negative impact on the ecological state of the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to take measures to prevent or minimize such situations. Scientists from Perm Polytechnic University have found new microorganisms that help combat the remains of toxic substances.
