<img src=”https://naked-science.ru/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/123-1.jpg” alt=”Artificial intelligence predicts the behavior of quantum systems”/>HSE scientists, together with colleagues from the University of Southern California, have developed an algorithm that quickly and accurately predicts the behavior of quantum systems — from quantum computers to solar panels. With its help, it was possible to model processes in the MoS₂ semiconductor and find out that the movement of charged particles is affected not only by the number of defects, but also by their location. These defects can slow down or speed up charge transfer, creating effects that were previously difficult to take into account using standard methods.
